Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
This week’s topic is:
Top Ten Books on My Spring TBR
There are so many books I want to read! I’ve been in a long reading/blogging slump but I feel myself coming out of it. These are the top ten books that I’m excited to read this spring (not necessarily books that are being published this spring), in no particular order:
1. Scarlett Epstein Hates It Here, by Anna Breslaw
(to be published April 19, 2016)
This book about fandom sounds so fun! I have an ARC of this and I’m planning to get it to it very very soon.
2. A Study in Charlotte, by Brittany Cavallaro
(published March 1, 2016)
I’ve heard very good things about this book, and I love Sherlock Holmes re-tellings and re-imaginings.
3. Down with the Shine, by Kate Karyus Quinn
(to be published April 26, 2016)
I have really enjoyed Kate Karyus Quinn’s earlier books, and she is one of those authors now who is on my must-read list.
4. The Raven King (Raven Cycle #4), by Maggie Stiefvater
(to be published April 26, 2016)
This is my favourite series, and this is to be the last book in the series. I’m really sad about the series ending, but so excited to read this book!
5.Β Riders, by Veronica Rossi
(published February 16, 2016)
I bought a copy of this book right around the time it came out. It’s about an eighteen-year old guy who becomes War, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. That sounds so good!! I can’t wait to get into this book!
6. Bookishly Ever After, by Isabel Bandeira
(published January 19, 2016)
A book about a girl who loves books and turns to them for advice when a boy might have a crush on her! I bought this book too when it came out but still haven’t read it.
7. Kill the Boy Band, by Goldy Moldavsky
(published February 23, 2016)
Yet another that I own and haven’t read yet. I’ve heard great things about this one – it sounds like a very dark and funny book. I can’t wait!
8. Rebel of the Sands, by Alwyn Hamilton
(published March 8, 2016)
This is yet another book about which I’ve heard great things, and I have an ARC too so I really have no excuse for not picking it up yet. Soon!
9. The Last Boy and Girl in the World, by Siobhan Vivian
(to be published April 26, 2016)
I just love this cover. And the story, about a town disappearing under water and its inhabitants being ordered to leave, sounds wonderfully heartbreaking.
10. Wink Poppy Midnight, by April Genevieve Tucholke
(to be published March 22, 2016)
I love twisty stories, and that’s exactly what this sounds like! I’ve been looking forward to this book for a really long time and I can’t wait to pick up a copy when it’s out!
Are any of these on your TBR, or have you read some of them already? Let me know!

Ohhhh, so many great books on your list, Kim! I can’t wait for The Raven King myself, I’m dying to see how the story is going to end. I’m also really looking forward to reading Riders, hopefully soon! π Great list!
Thanks Christy! It was sooo hard to keep this list to ten books!
I want to read a lot of these as well! A Study in Charlotte made my list this week too! I am in the middle of it right now, and it’s pretty good so far!

Ooohh! I’m happy to hear you’re liking it so far!
The Raven King and Riders are both on my TBR list, but of course I didn’t think to add them to my TTT this week. I hope we both enjoy them.

I really liked Under the Never Sky too, and I’ve heard good things about Riders, so I have high expectations!

I’ve heard it’s very dark and very funny – just my kind of book!
