Just One Reader's Opinion!

Week In Review

October 5 – 11

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians! I’m really excited for the long weekend, especially because I have plans to read a lot, and because The Walking Dead season six premiere is tonight!

This was another book-filled week! I had a big Chapters gift card and some Plum Points to redeem, so the following made their way into my home:

Lumberjanes, Vol. 2, by Noelle Stevenson, Grace Ellis, Brooke Allen, and Shannon Waters (pre-order arrived early);

Black Widow: Forever Red, by Margaret Stohl (another pre-order that showed up nice and early!);

Carry On, by Rainbow Rowell (an impulse buy);

More Happy Than Not, by Adam Silvera (purchased);

Passenger, by Alex Bracken (YAY!! Received from the publisher via Netgalley – thank you!);

I Remember You: A Ghost Story, by YrsaΒ SigurΓ°ardΓ³ttir (purchased);

Wolf By Wolf, by Ryan Graudin (purchased – this was on the shelf before the on-sale date I think);

Three Parts Dead, by Max Gladstone (purchased); and

THE WALKING DEAD COMPENDIUM NO. 3, by Robert Kirkman, Charlie Adlard, and Stefano Gaudiano!!!! (I think this was also on the shelf before the on-sale date)

So many books that I’m excited to read!!

I finished reading two books this week: ARCs of Kim Liggett’s Blood and Salt, and Patrick Ness’s The Rest of Us Just Live Here.

Currently, I’m reading a borrowed ARC of Jennifer Donnelly’s These Shallow Graves.

I didn’t have any reviews posted this part week, but coming up I’ll have my reviews of both Blood and Salt and The Rest of Us JustΒ  Live Here.

That’s it for me! I want to read, go for a walk, and watch The Walking Dead premiere! Happy reading!

    I wound up enjoying this book so much that I immediately bought the rest of the books in the series and read them all one right after the other!
