Just One Reader's Opinion!

Week In Review

November 9 – 15

Hello! I’m going to keep this short and sweet because I’m meeting my sister to go shopping once I’m done writing this!

The days are shorter and the weather is colder, and I’ve started listening to Christmas music already. We’re approaching my absolute favourite time of year! Which of course has me thinking about my end-of-the-year list of my ten favourite books read this year. There’s still some time left, but I’m already feeling like it’s going to be difficult to choose my ten favourites.

And speaking of books, I received a few new ones that I’m very excited to read:

Winter, by Marissa Meyer (purchased) – the final book in The Lunar Chronicles series;

Soundless, by Richelle Mead (purchased);

These Vicious Masks, by Tarun Shanker (e-arc received from publisher); and

The Last Boy and Girl in the World, by Siobhan Vivian (e-arc received from the publisher).

Thank you Raincoast and Simon and Schuster!!

I only finished reading one book last week: Hotel Ruby, by Suzanne Young.

Currently, I’m still reading Rook by Sharon Cameron, and I’ve started reading Take the Fall by Emily Hainsworth.

Last week, I posted two reviews: A Head Full of Ghosts, by Paul Tremblay, and I Remember You: A Ghost Story, byYrsa SigurΓ°ardΓ³ttir.

Coming up this week (provided I can write them in time!) are reviews of Black Widow: Forever Red, by Margaret Stohl, and Slade House by David Mitchell.

Time to go shopping, and of course tonight I’ll be watching The Walking Dead! Happy Sunday!
