Good morning and happy long weekend! I am in desperate need of some coffee today, but I didn’t want to sleep too late because I want to make the most of what’s left of the three-day weekend! I have big reading plans, since I didn’t do much reading all week. We’ll see if I actually stick to those plans though…

New books:

This was a quiet book week, but I did get an e-ARC of Kasie West’s Love, Life, and the List via Edelweiss. Thank you HarperTeen!

Books read:

Like I said, this was a fairly light reading week for me, but I did finish two books:

The Dire King (Jackaby #4), William Ritter; and

The Night We Said Yes, Lauren Gibaldi.

Current reads:

I’m kind of reading three books right now, but I didn’t make progress on any of them this week:

Sparks of Light, Janet B. Taylor;

My Favorite Thing is Monsters,, Emil Ferris; and

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, J.K. Rowling (re-read).

I’m hoping to finish one of those today, and to get started on Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero after that. I have an e-ARC and I want to read it so much, but I am trying to finish something else first!

Reviews:

No reviews posted this past week! I had a bunch of books I’d finished and needed to review, but I was lazy and just didn’t feel like doing it. But I’ve got a couple of weeks’ worth of reviews scheduled now, and a few more still to write, so I will actually have something on the blog in the upcoming weeks.

It’s a grey, rainy day today, so it’s perfect for staying inside with a book! Time for coffee and trying to actually read something now!

    I wound up enjoying this book so much that I immediately bought the rest of the books in the series and read them all one right after the other!
