Just when I thought the weather was warming up, it got really cold and snowy again in the city! When will spring weather arrive???
Friday night I went to see a movie with a friend – The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. It was light-hearted and funny, but I tried to be healthy and didn’t order any popcorn. The smell of it made me wish I had though!
Saturday night I went out with my husband and some friends to see another friend’s band – Old Whiskey Road – and they were awesome!
This week, I posted two book reviews (Legend and Cinder), and one game review (New Super Mario Bros. U).
I also finished reading two other books, Level 2 and Tokyo Heist, so I’ll be posting those reviews this week.
I’m currently reading Amelia Anne is Dead and Gone by Kat Rosenfeld, which I’ve been looking to reading for some time. I’m only about 40 pages in right now, but I like it so far.
I’m also playing Bit.Trip Presents Runner 2 on the PS3 and love it! It’s so fun: your character runs across the screen and all you can do is avoid obstacles (jump, slide, block, etc.) and the music gets more intense and techno-y as you go. I downloaded the demo first from PSN, but after going through it a couple of times, decided it was worth spending $14 on the full game. So far, I’m not regretting the decision!
My husband and I have been watching Justified on Netflix, and we’re just finished the first two seasons. What a great show! It’s funny, dramatic, intense – I definitely recommend it!
I hope everyone’s enjoying their St. Patrick’s Day! My husband and I are hanging out with a friend – they have beer, I have diet coke – and just relaxing before another work week begins!
