Just One Reader's Opinion!

Week In Review

August 4 – 10

Another week gone by! With the short work week, I feel like the past few days flew by – including the weekend, unfortunately!

I picked up one book, from the library: The One by Kiera Cass. I’m looking forward to seeing how this series ends. I also received an ARC of Ghost House by Alexandra Adornetto (YAY!!!) and my pre-order of Stephanie Perkins’ Isla and the Happily Ever After arrived early!

I’ve started reading four books this week, which is more than I usually have on the go at once! I’m reading Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson for book club, and I started reading New York by Edward Rutherford, which a co-worker lent me. I’m also slowly reading The Happiness Project, by Gretchen Rubin, and I had to start reading Isla!

I finished a ton of books lately, because of the long weekend: I finished Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins, as well as an ARC of Jackaby by William Ritter.

I also read ARCs of:

Feral by Holly Schindler;

Messenger of Fear by Michael Grant;

Chasing Before by Lenore Appelhans; and

Ghost House (I couldn’t wait to read it!)

It was a busy week on the blog. I posted my ARC reviews of:

Servants of the Storm by Delilah S. Dawson;

Behind the Scenes by Dahlia Adler; and

Virgin by Radhika Sanghani.

I also shared my thoughts on why I love the cold weather.

Coming up this week are my review of Rin Chupeco’s The Girl From the Well, and Pretty Little Liars: Toxic by Sara Shepard.

That’s it for me. Now to try and finish one of my many current reads…Happy Sunday!
