Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, and spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
This week’s pick is Tumble & Fall by Alexandra Coutts.
Here is the Goodreads summary:
The world is living in the shadow of oncoming disaster. An asteroid is set to strike the earth in just one weekβs time; catastrophe is unavoidable. The question isnβt how to save the worldβthe question is, what to do with the time that’s left? Against this stark backdrop, three island teens wrestle with intertwining stories of love, friendship and familyβall with the ultimate stakes at hand.
Alexandra Coutts’s TUMBLEΒ & FALL is a powerful story of courage, love, and hope at the end of the world.
A story about the end of the world is definitely right up my alley. What appeals to me about this one is that it takes place a week before it all comes to an end. This premise reminds me of the movie Last Night, a movie about the final night on Earth. I really liked it, and I am hoping that I’ll really like this book, which is supposed to come out in September.
What are you waiting on this week?

This sounds like a super emotional read. I can see it being terribly sad at the end or somehow working out and being extremely happy. I’ve added it to my TBR, since I hadn’t heard of it before. Thanks for sharing. Great pick!

Thanks! I love end of the world stories, even though they are usually pretty upsetting, lol!
I’m looking forward to this one too! And I love the creativity of the cover.
