Has it been three years already?
This month marks three years of blogging at Pingwing’s Bookshelf. Wow! I can’t believe it! When this blog started in November 2010, it was so that I could have a place to keep my thoughts and feelings about what I was reading, because I felt that I didn’t have many people in my life to share that with.
Now, three years later, things have changed. Before, I was more of an eclectic reader, and now my focus has narrowed to (mostly) YA fiction. This year is the first year that I reached out to the blogging community and participated in things like meetups, author readings, book releases, and more.
I’m so very thankful for the Ottawa book blogger meet up put on by Kathy from A Glass of Wine, which was my first bookish event, which led to joining the book club that Ciara from Lost at Midnight started (and which I look forward to all month), and just this weekend I went to Toronto with the Ottawa bloggers to attend the Ontario Blog Squad meet up!
I’ve been fortunate enough to meet some awesome bloggers, interact with fabulous authors and people in the publishing industry, and read some amazing books that I heard about from other book bloggers. So in honour of my third year on the blog, I’m doing a giveaway – my very first! See the details and conditions in the Rafflecopter widget below.
The giveaway is for any book that I’ve reviewed on my blog – as long as it’s available via The Book Depository – and it’s open internationally, as long as The Book Depository ships to your country.
