Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
I haven’t done one of these in a while!! This week’s topic is:
Top Ten (+2) Books At The Top Of My Summer TBR List
Most of these are books I’ve purchased but haven’t gotten around to reading yet. I’m really trying to make it through my owned-but-not-yet-read books, which means I need to stop requesting ARCs and suspend all my holds at the library!
So here are the top twelve books that are not only at the top of my summer TBR list, but already on my shelves!
1. Pretty Little Liars #13: Crushed by Sara Shepard
I love this series and this will be the perfect summer read! Mystery, suspense, mean girls…I bought it the day it came out and can’t wait to read it!
2. Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo
This is one I’m borrowing from my BFF. I can’t wait to read it and then talk about it with her!
3. Quarantine #2: The Saints by Lex Thomas
I actually have this as an e-book courtesy of NetGalley and have been looking forward to this since I read the first book in the series ages ago (or so it seems!).
4. Going Vintage by Lindsey Leavitt
This sounds like a fun, light read that will be perfect for curling up with on the balcony on a warm summer morning.
5. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Mass
I’ve been wanting to read this for some time and got the e-book for super cheap via a Kobo store sale. I think there’s a sequel coming out sometime this year, which means if I love this (and I hope I do!), I won’t have to wait long to read the next installment.
6. The Fifth Wave by Rick Yancey
I’ve heard so much about this book! I bought it but haven’t read it yet.
7. The Nightmare Affair by Mindee Arnett
This has been sitting on my bookshelf for so long! I fell in love with the premise and the cover. I can’t believe I haven’t started this yet.
8. Someday, Someday, Maybe by Lauren Graham
Another that’s been on my shelf for too long. Why haven’t I read this yet??? I was so excited for it!
9. Another Little Piece by Kate Karyus Quinn
I preordered this and just got it in the mail. This might be my next read, once I finish my current books. I am so in the mood for something spooky that will give me the shivers!
10. Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas
I received this ARC from the publisher and it’s about a spring break trip to Aruba gone bad. Sand and sun? Sounds like a good summer read to me.
And two more since my TBR list is out of control:
11. Pivot Point by Kasie West
I got this at the same time as The Nightmare Affair – I was so excited for both of these books, and then they came and got put to the back of the line behind my library books. Now it’s their turn!
12. Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin
This is a book club pick, which is great, since it means I absolutely will read it!
What’s on your summer TBR list?
