I read this very quickly, mostly in one sitting, staying up late into the night so I could finish.
Overall, this was such a fun, heartwarming read, highly recommended for fellow fangirls!
If you liked The Merciless, you’ve got to read this sequel!
A strong start and a strong finish, with a not-so-strong in between, for me.
I’m two for two with liking Katie Alender’s books so far!
While I liked it, I just didn’t love this one in the end.
It’s dark, gritty, and intense, and I’m really looking forward to discussing it with other readers!
I wanted to fall in love with this book and get caught up in the story and characters, but for whatever reason, I just didn’t.
