September 12 – 18
Happy Sunday! It’s been a busy week around here, so I’m hoping today can be all about curling up with a book and some coffee.
I received a few ARCs this week that I’m super excited about!
First up is The Female of the Species, by Mindy McGinnis (thanks HCC Frenzy!!). This is one of my most-anticipated books and I’m really excited about reading it!
Next up is Herman Koch’s Dear Mr. M (thank you Penguin Randomhouse Canada!). I really enjoyed The Dinner, so I’m looking forward to this book.
Third, I received an e-ARC of A Darkly Beating Heart by Lindsay Smith (thanks Raincoast!).
I finished reading two books this week: Robin Talley’s As I Descended, and Sarah Porter’s Vassa in the Night.
Currently, I’m readingΒ The Female of the Species Β – I’m only one chapter in and really excited to see where the story goes.
On the blog this past week, I had reviews of Anne Tyler’s Vinegar Girl and Lucy Holliday’s A Night In with Audrey Hepburn. I also got back into my Project SPN Rewatch and shared my thoughts on season two episodes 20 and 21.
Coming up this week are my reviews of The Couple Next Door, by Shari Lapena, and The Glittering Court, by Richelle Mead, along with another Project SPN Rewatch post.
