The ending of Blackbird definitely has me curious enough about the story to read the sequel, despite my lukewarm feelings about the rest of the book.
I definitely recommend this series for readers looking for a fast-paced, exciting thriller.

This was a very interesting, engrossing read, and one that I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a thought-provoking thriller that is certainly not run of the mill.

This wasn’t a bad book – it just wasn’t the book for me.
All in all, this book lived up to my expectations for a twisty mystery.
Of course I’m going to keep reading the rest of the series – I’ve come this far, and there is apparently only one book left – but this book was a bit of a let down following Deadly.
I was definitely disappointed with the decision to leave things as they were, but my curiosity will win out and I’m sure I’ll read the next book in the series when it comes out.
Overall, My Last Kiss was a fairly quick, easy read with a good mystery.
It does strain believability at times, but if you can push that aside and let yourself get caught up in the Saybrook ladies and their opulent lifestyles, this book can be a great, fun summer read.
