Just One Reader's Opinion!

Week In Review

May 6 – 12

The first half of the week was beautiful! I can’t complain about the sun, the temperature, or the leaves on the trees. It was perfect! And on top of that, the Blue Jays won a game on Saturday and my beloved Maple Leafs won on Friday to stave off elimination! Fingers crossed for today’s game!

Kevin’s birthday was Friday, so we had a nice dinner and then went out for a birthday party last night and played some Cards Against Humanity! We also spent some time watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Netflix. It’s one of my ultimate all-time favourite shows, and the fact that Kevin is willing to watch a few episodes (and hopefully the full series!) makes me very happy.

This week I posted my reviews of Ten by Gretchen McNeil and The Unbearable Book Club for Unsinkable Girls by Julie Schumacher.

I also posted my Top Ten Tuesday post on my top ten books when I’m in the mood for something light and fun (except I could only come up with nine) and my Waiting on Wednesday post on the upcoming Siege and Storm.

I just finished reading John Green’s Paper Towns – my first John Green! – and will be working on that review today, and I’ve started to read Gone by Michael Grant.

Coming up this week are my reviews of Mila 2.0 by Debra Driza and Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi.

I hope to spend the rest of the day watching some more Buffy with Kevin, reading, watching the Jays play, and watching the Leafs win another game (I’m optimistic!).
