December 23 – 29
Merry post-Christmas! As usual, I’m sad that it’s over. The whole month of December flew by this year!
I received a bunch of Chapters/Indigo gift cards for Christmas, which makes me so very happy! I’ve already used some to order Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi, Asunder by Jodi Meadows, and Roomies by Sara Zarr and Tara Altebrando. I also bought Crewel by Gennifer Albin on a really good Kobo Boxing Day deal, and my younger sister gave me Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn trilogy for Christmas.
I got a lot of reading done over my week of holidays. I finished Scarlet and Cress by Marissa Meyer, and We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. They were all great!
I’m currently reading Avalon by Mindee Arnett, and Winger by Andrew Smith.
I posted my reviews of In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters, and The Promise of Amazing by Robin Constantine. I also posted my Top Ten Reads of 2013.
Coming up are my reviews of No One Else Can Have You by Kathleen Hale; Afterparty by Ann Redisch Stampler; and Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi.
I’m going back to work tomorrow, so I hope to spend today reading, working on reviews, and totally relaxing before my holidays are over! Happy Sunday!
