Just One Reader's Opinion!

Week In Review

February 24 – March 2

What a week! Work was super busy, but on the bright side, the Toronto Blue Jays have started playing their spring training Grapefruit League games and are doing pretty well! I’ve started digging out my Jays gear in preparation for opening day!

My husband and I started watching House of Cards on Netflix and we are getting really into it! The other big deal in my house this weekend was our trip to Ikea for a new bookshelf. We ended up not buying one since we didn’t have enough space to get it home, but we found the perfect bookshelf and made plans with friends to pick it up next weekend. I can’t wait!

A bunch of my books that I pre-ordered showed up this week: Andrew Smith’s The Grasshopper Jungle, Mindee Arnett’s The Nightmare Dilemma, and Tsarina by J. Nelle Patrick.

I also picked up Landry Park by Bethany Hagen from the library, along with the graphic novel Hawkeye, vol. 1: My Life as a Weapon.

I also received an e-ARC of Andrew Smith’s 100 Sideways Miles from Edelweiss.

I only finished one book this week, but it was a great one: Marie Rutkoski’s The Winner’s Curse.

Currently I’m reading Asunder by Jodi Meadows and an e-ARC of Nil by Lynne Matson.

On the blog, I posted my reviews of Tin Star and The Nightmare Dilemma, along with my Waiting on Wednesday post on Don’t Look Back.

Well I’m off to watch some more House of Cards and then curl up on the couch with a book! Happy Sunday!

This was definitely a twisty read, but it felt like too many twists just for the sake of being twisty to me!
