Week In Review

December 1 – 7

Is it too early to be wishing people a merry Christmas and happy holidays? Because I am definitely feeling the Christmas spirit!

I picked up the Chaos Walking series by Patrick Ness this week (The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Ask and the Answer, and Monsters of Men), which I’m super excited to read!! I also bought the e-book of the final book in the Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Shepard, Vicious. I’m so darned excited to read it, but at the same time I’m really apprehensive because I’ve stuck with this series through all 16 books and I’m kind of sad and nervous for it to end!

I also downloaded an e-ARC of Solitaire by Alice Oseman, from Edelweiss.

On Sunday, Canada Post delivered a package and I was totally surprised (both by a Sunday delivery and because I wasn’t expecting anything). Simon & Schuster Canada sent me a package containing four ARCs that I’m really excited to read:

The Brilliant Life of Amber Sunrise, by Matthew Crow;

We All Looked Up, by Tommy Wallach;

Remember, by Eileen Cook; and

Burning Kingdoms (Internment Chronicles #2) by Lauren DeStefano.

Thank you very much!!

Currently, I’m still reading Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater and loving it.

I only finished reading one book this week, but it was a good one: The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski (e-ARC), sequel to The Winner’s Curse. It was very good!!

I posted my review of Robin Lafevers’ Mortal Heart, and Glory O’Brien’s History of the Future by A.S. King. Both books are excellent!

Coming up this week are reviews of Yes Please by Amy Poehler, and Court by Cat Patrick.

Time for coffee and some more time with Blue Lily, Lily Blue. Happy Sunday!
