March 19 – 25
Hello! I have spent most of the weekend reading and watching more Justified (almost halfway through season five now. I’ll be sad to start season six because it’s the last season!). That show is soooo good. It’s one of my favourites, and I think I could easily watch it all again.
New books:
I think the only new book I have this week is a library book via the Libby app: The Lost Girls of Camp Forevermore, by Kim Fu. I heard it mentioned on one of my Book Riot podcasts and was really interested in checking it out.
Books read:
I only finished one book this past week, but it was a big one! I read The Terror by Dan Simmons, which is being adapted for TV by AMC and I think the first two episodes air this week, so I’m hoping to check that out.
Current reads:
I am still reading Reign of the Fallen, and I know I said I would try to finish it last weekend, but then I got really sucked into The Terror. But I really do plan to try and finish it today, and then I’ll let myself start The Lost Girls of Camp Forevermore.
Reviews:
I had two reviews posted this week: one of my sister’s cozy mysteries, Stowed Away by Barbara Ross, and I reviewed Hari Kunzru’s White Tears. I also shared some pre-order information for Lizzie by Dawn Ius.
Time to catch up Coronation Street, grab another coffee, and then watch some more Justified. Happy Sunday!
