I hope that some of the minor drawbacks from the first book are resolved in the next one.
I just wasn’t grabbed by the book and had a hard time following some parts of the murder mystery.
I wish I had liked this more, because it’s getting a lot of love, but maybe her next book will be a hit with me.
This made me very excited for the upcoming fourth book in the series!

I absolutely loved Josh Malerman’s Bird Box when I read it a few years ago, so I was excited to read anything he wrote next.
Michelle McNamara has written an interesting, engrossing, haunting book.
This book was a lot of fun to read and lead to a dramatic increase in cookie consumption. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
I’m sure I’ll check out whatever novels he writes in the future, but I’m so torn on this one.
