Just One Reader's Opinion!

Week In Review

July 8 – 14

Hi all! What a warm week it’s been here in Ottawa! I’ve been hiding out from the humidity indoors, curled up on my couch in front of the fan with my books.

I met up with the lovely Ciara from Lost at Midnight Reviews and Kathy from A Glass of Wine on Tuesday after work and had a great time chatting about books, tv shows, and eating cupcakes! And Kathy let me borrow her ARC of Kendare Blake’s new book, Antigoddess! Squeeeee!

If you missed it, I posted my announcement on Wednesday about the Sisterhood of the Traveling Book Club, and I’m pretty excited about it! Our first book is The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, which I’m liking a lot so far!

I’ve seen quite a few bloggers participating in the 15 day book blogger challenge, hosted at Good Books And Good Wine, and it’s got me wanting to join in! So on Tuesday I’ll post my answer to the first question, and will do one a day from there. I’ll be a bit behind but I’m looking forward to joining in!

On the blog this week, I posted my review of Tethers, followed by an interview with the author, Jack Croxall. I also posted my review of Quarantine 2: The Saints by Lex Thomas.

I finished reading three books this week: Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo; Going Vintage by Lindsey Leavitt; and Antigoddess!

My current reads are The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and Suzanne Young’s The Program.

Coming up this week on the blog are my reviews of Sara Shepard’s Pretty Little Liars: Crushed, and Caitlin Moran’s How To Be A Woman.

I’m planning to spend the rest of my weekend reading and…reading! Haha!

I wound up enjoying this book so much that I immediately bought the rest of the books in the series and read them all one right after the other!
