Week In Review

August 6 – 12

Happy weekend! I’ve been carrying on with a Gilmore Girls rewatch all week, which has led to me going back and listening to my beloved Gilmore Guys podcast. I’ve just started season 3. These early seasons are my favourites, and I’m trying to pretend that I don’t know the annoying things that are coming up in a few seasons (boo Digger and Logan and Marty!).

I’ve also been very into my Happy Planners (inspired by Hannah at So Obsessed With). I’ve got the classic Happy Planner, and I’ve just bought one of the mini planners to use as a reading journal. It’s been very fun so far for tracking my reading, which I’ve typically done electronically, using Goodreads. But I love the idea of having a physical record of what I read.

New books:

I’ve recently bought a bunch of ebooks for my Kobo for some very good sale prices:

Summer at Little Beach Street Bakery, Jenny Colgan;

The Cafe by the Sea, Jenny Colgan;

Foe, Iain Reid; and

An Ocean of Minutes, Thea Lim.

Books read:

I only finished two books this week: The Cheerleaders by Kara Thomas, and First We Were IV by Alexandra Sirowy.

Current reads:

I’m reading a bunch of books right now: Dare Me by Megan Abbott; Roomies by Christina Lauren; and Meet Me at the Cupcake Cafe by Jenny Colgan (on audio).

Reviews:
