Week In Review

August 13 – 19

Yesterday I watched Netflix’s adaptation of Jenny Han’s wonderful To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and it was soooo good. Like the book, it was sweet and funny and I had a big smile on my face the whole time. You have to watch it! And then read the trilogy if you haven’t done that yet. I so hope Netflix makes the other two books into movies as well!

Books read:

I read three books this week:

Dare Me, Megan Abbott;

Roomies, Christina Lauren; and

Foe, Iain Reid.

Current reads:

I’m still reading Meet Me at the Cupcake Cafe by Jenny Colgan (on audio, which takes me forever), and I’m about to start Becky Albertalli’s Leah on the Offbeat, for book club.

Two reviews this week:

A Noise Downstairs, Linwood Barclay; and

Roomies, Christina Lauren.

Time for some coffee and perhaps another viewing of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before! Happy Sunday!

    We watched that movie, too; it was sweet and fun and such a delightful cast. Thanks for the recommendation!
