Week In Review

August 12 – 19

I’m writing this post a day late because I spent about 8 hours yesterday on a train on the way back from visiting my parents. It was a great, relaxing few days of mini-vacation but soon it will be back to reality. At least I have the next couple of days off work. Yay!

While I was away, I bought Aprilynne Pike’s Life After Theft, and Diana Peterfreund’s For Darkness Shows the Stars. I also bought The Reece Malcolm List by Amy Spalding for my Kobo before I left on my trip.

This week, I finished reading a whole bunch of books (mostly thanks to my two 8-hour train trips!): Reboot by Amy Tintera; Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas; Earthbound by Aprilynne Pike; and Life After Theft. I’ll be working on all of those reviews this week!

Believe it or not, I’m not currently reading anything! After finishing Life After Theft on the train yesterday, I haven’t really had a chance to pick up my next read. It will likely be Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick.

I posted a whole bunch of reviews on the blog: The Program by Suzanne Young; This World We Live In andย  The Shade of the Moon by Susan Beth Pfeffer; and Fire with Fire by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian. I also shared my Waiting on Wednesday post for Enders by Lissa Price.

This week I’m sharing my reviews of Just Like Fate by Cat Patrick and Suzanne Young, and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares.

I’m off to do glamorous things on my vacation: laundry and groceries! Haha.
