Just One Reader's Opinion!

Week In Review

December 2 – 8

Hello again, another Sunday is here which means the weekend is, sadly, almost over.

I had a very nice book week. I bought the newest book in Sara Shepard’s Pretty Little Liars series, Deadly, as soon as it came out this week. I love this series so much even though it does seem a little nuts that it’s on book 14 and still not over! But I look forward to each new installment and I am planning to read this over my Christmas vacation!

I also bought the e-book of Donna Tartt’s new book, The Goldfinch, which was on sale for a ridiculously good price (something like $2.99). I just couldn’t resist!

And speaking of things I couldn’t resist, I checked out the titles available on Edelweiss and went a bit overboard! I received copies of the following:

The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings (one of my most anticipated reads)

The Castle Behind Thorns by Merrie Haskell

Sleep No More by Aprilynne Pike

Wicked Games by Sean Olin

Guy In Real Life by Steve Brezenoff

After the End by Amy Plum

The Eighth Day by Dianne K. Salerni

The Enchanted by Rene Denfeld (I’m really really excited to read this one)

Talker 25 by Joshua McCune

I finished reading two books this week: an ARC of Flame by Amy Kathleen Ryan (the final book in the Sky Chasers series) and an ARC of No One Else Can Have You by Kathleen Hale. I’ll be working on those reviews today!

Currently, I’m still reading Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi (it felt a bit slow at the start for me but I’m really starting to get into it now!) and an ARC of Unforgotten by Jessica Brody, the sequel to Unremembered.

Last week I posted my reviews of Robyn Schneider’s The Beginning of Everything, and Carly Anne West’s The Murmurings. Coming up this week are my reviews of These Broken Stars (which I thought was being posted last week, oops! Such a good book!), and Just One Year by Gayle Forman (sequel to Just One Day).

Well, I’m off to write my Christmas cards, play some Nintendo, and read by the Christmas tree! Happy Sunday!

I wound up enjoying this book so much that I immediately bought the rest of the books in the series and read them all one right after the other!
