This was a well-written, enjoyable story, and by a Canadian author! This is definitely a recommended read!
Oh my gosh I was so excited to read this book! I loved Just One Day so so so much, and when I learned there would be a companion novel told from Willem’s perspective, I knew I had to get my hands on it.
This was a really enjoyable book with an excellent combination of humour and heart.
A quick, enjoyable read that felt different from much of what I’ve read this year.
Overall, I enjoyed reading this book. It was funny, touching, and although it left me wanting more, I think it’s one you should check out if you’re a contemporary YA fan.

I definitely recommend this book, and its predecessor.
Once I started and got drawn into Mercy’s story, I couldn’t put it down.
