Just One Reader's Opinion!

Week In Review

April 4 – 17

Oops I didn’t do one of these last week. I haven’t been feeling so great lately so I will probably keep this short and sweet.

Books! A few books have made their way onto my shelves since my last WiR post:

Ms. Marvel Vol. 2, by G. Willow Wilson, Adrian Alphona, Takeshi Miyazawa, and Elmo Bondoc;

The Raven King, by Maggie Stiefvater (GOODBYE WORLD! My pre-order showed up super early so I’m reading this now and I already know it will ruin me);

The Worrier’s Guide to Life, by Gemma Correll;

Red Queen and Glass Sword, by Victoria Aveyard; and

Flicker and Mist, by Mary G. Thompson (e-ARC – thank you HMH!).

I managed to finish three books in the past couple of weeks:Β The Worrier’s Guide to Life; Rebel of the Sands (ARC), by Alwyn Hamilton; and In a Dark, Dark Wood, by Ruth Ware.

I’m currently reading two books: an e-ARC of Robin Wasserman’s Girls on Fire, andΒ The Raven King.

The blog was a little quiet the past couple of weeks. I posted my reviews of:

Jane Steele, by Lyndsay Faye;

Perfect Days, by Raphael Montes; and

Rebel of the Sands, by Alwyn Hamilton.

I also shared a Waiting on Wednesday posts about a new YA horror novel coming from Amy Lukavics.

Coming up this week, I’ll have my review ofΒ In a Dark, Dark Wood. I’m sure I’ll finishΒ The Raven King but I will be holding off with my review until after the release date.

That’s it for me. Time to get back to my book and my coffee. Happy Sunday!
