September 15 – 21
This week was all about my kind of weather! Cool but sunny, with pants and sweaters and scarves. Love it! It also means fall TV is coming, and tomorrow I’m going to be watching the premiere of Gotham and then the season two premiere of Sleepy Hollow. I’m super excited!!
It was a fairly quiet book week, mostly because I’ve put myself on a book buying ban.The last of my pre-book ban purchased books arrived in the mail this week: The Queen of the Tearling, by Erika Johansen; The Glass Sentence, by S.E. Grove; and my pre-order of Unmarked (The Legion #2) by Kami Garcia (which has arrived nice and early!). I read an ARC of Unmarked right after BEA (review will be posted closer to release date) and loved it so much that I had to buy a finished copy!
I’ve been using the library a lot more and picked up a couple of books from my branch: Dancer, Daughter, Traitor, Spy by Elizabeth Kiem and Fiendish by Brenna Yovanoff.
I finished reading three books this week:
The Glass Casket, by McCormick Templeman;
Sway (ARC), by Kat Spears; and
Famous Last Words (ARC), by Katie Alender.
Currently, I’m reading my library books, Dancer, Daughter, Traitor, Spy and Fiendish.
It was another busy week on the blog! I posted five reviews:
Get Even, by Gretchen McNeil;
Made For You, by Melissa Marr;
Blood Of My Blood, by Barry Lyga;
Blackbird, by Anna Carey; and
Dangerous Boys, by Abigail Haas.
Phew!
Coming up this week are reviews of:
Messenger of Fear, by Michael Grant;
Rooms, by Lauren Oliver;
HorrorstΓΆr, by Grady Hendrix; and
Anatomy of a Misfit, by Andrea Portes.
Now to sip my Starbucks and curl up with a book! Happy Sunday!
