If you like YA novels and/or post-apocalyptic books, I strongly recommend this. On second thought, even if you don’t like those kind of books, read this anyway. It’s that good!
Overall, this was a good, fun read, but it was lacking the excitement of other Hannah mysteries.
I wanted to enjoy this book, but I may have had high expectations that could not be met.
I have really grown to love these books. Even though someone always winds up dead, I think that they make for really fun, light reading.
This book combines the fun of a Hannah Swenson mystery with a ton of yummy recipes and Christmas, my favourite holiday! Of course I liked it!
I would recommend this if you’re looking for something light-hearted and humorous.

I suppose my main gripe with the book is that some of the characters were just so darn unlikable, and if I can’t connect with a character in a book, I have a hard time feeling drawn in and invested in the story.
I have been reading a lot of young adult fiction lately and this book was an excellent change of pace. I really recommend that you pick up all of Pearl’s novels, particularly this one.
