It does strain believability at times, but if you can push that aside and let yourself get caught up in the Saybrook ladies and their opulent lifestyles, this book can be a great, fun summer read.
Overall, this was a fun, exciting read that pulled me in right away with its action and violence. It wasn’t a perfect read, but I enjoyed it and recommend it!

This was my pick for the Sisterhood of the Traveling Book Club, and I was so eager to read it.
I didn’t love this book the way I loved Shadowlands, but it definitely has me looking forward to the final book in the series.
The pacing was problematic for me, but the intriguing concept and characters of Sol and D’Arcy made up for that, so I say you should give this one a try!
