This was a bit of a letdown for me, given how much I enjoyed its predecessor.
If you love dark academia, this is likely one you should check out!
As someone who reads a bunch of mysteries and thrillers, it didn’t feel like there was anything new or different here.
This was the kind of read I was in the mood for recently: familiar characters and a cozy mystery. As usual, Vivien Chien delivered with
I just didn’t feel as captivated by this one as I’d wanted to be.
I have really enjoyed this series and I’m sad it’s over, but this was a satisfying conclusion.
