I was so excited to read this book, based on the synopsis and eye-catching cover.
I definitely recommend that you add this to your 2020 TBR and pick up a copy when it’s available!
Overall, while I don’t think this was as strong as Slayer, I enjoyed it and definitely want to see where Nina’s story goes next.
Despite my initial excitement, this was a disappointing read for me.
Describing a book as a ‘gothic psychological thriller with a haunting twist’ pretty much guarantees that I will read it.
I keep thinking about it after I’ve read it and didn’t really expect to.
I’m eagerly waiting for the next book in the series, and if you haven’t read these yet, you should. Highly recommended!
