I loved the setting, but this book wasn’t as interesting or as spooky as I’d hoped!
This was definitely a twisty read, but it felt like too many twists just for the sake of being twisty to me!
There was a lot of the central premise that was really interesting to me, even if in execution I didn’t totally love the story.
I enjoy Kara Thomas’s books so I was definitely looking forward to this one.
This was one of my favourite books in the series, and I’m going to start reading the next one right away!
If you are looking for a different kind of mystery/thriller, check this out!
While this entry in the series took its time drawing me in, once it did I was once again happy to be immersed in Kendra’s story.
