I really liked this book and I definitely recommend the series. I can’t wait for the next book!
Overall, if you are a YA romance fan, I recommend this because at times this book seemed to be more about the romance aspect than anything else. If, like me, you are less of a romance fan, you may wish to steer clear.
This is a major recommended read from me if you like any of the following: YA fiction, the supernatural, stories that take place in historical settings, and fun reads!
I recommend this book if the plot appeals to you, but I think it’s also a good idea to be aware of the book’s criticisms. I am still planning on reading the sequel when it comes out, but I will likely read it with a more critical eye than I did this book.
If the idea of teenagers viciously murdering each other does not sound like fun reading, this may not be the book for you, but if you like action, excitement, drama, and suspense, I really recommend this book. I swear, I couldn’t put it down!
I recommend this book, because Morgenstern’s writing really did create a vivid world for me that I liked reading about, even if I couldn’t quite connect with the characters inhabiting that world.
If you like your YA with some sci-fi thrown in, I recommend this book!
I love this series and so of course I recommend this book.
I definitely liked this book as much as I liked Glow, and I continue to recommend this series.
This is a great YA novel combining elements of historical fiction with a good mix of fantasy and romance thrown in. If that appeals to you, I highly recommend this book!
This was a quick read, but it was engrossing and moving.
If you like urban fantasy and/or YA romance, this may be a book (and series) for you.
