When it comes to contemporary reads, I’m pretty hit and miss, and while Can’t Look Away was good, I didn’t love it and I don’t think it will be one that stays with me.
This is a recommended read for horror fans, but if you are squeamish, this might not be the book for you.
Overall, Feral was an intriguing and somewhat spooky story, and I’d recommend it to those looking for a unique paranormal read. But be warned that the ending may frustrate you!
Camp Utopia and the Forgiveness Diet is a funny, quirky book that I think will appeal to contemporary YA lovers.
The summary says that this is the first in a series, and thank goodness because THAT ENDING! I was flailing and desperately wanting book two as soon as I finished reading!
Sadly, The Girl from the Well was not the book for me.
Overall, if you are a contemporary lover, The Chapel Wars might be the kind of book you’ll love. Unfortunately for me, there was a lot of like but no love.
If you’re looking for something a bit dark with a paranormal element, I recommend this book.
Overall, My Last Kiss was a fairly quick, easy read with a good mystery.
This was another fun, action-packed read. If you enjoyed Mila 2.0, you’ll definitely want to pick this up!
