Gideon the Ninth
This is probably my favourite book of the year so far. How could it not be, with some my favourite bookish things: necromancy, skeletons, and sword-fighting!

This was a very fun, quick, suspenseful read that has some creepy moments but is not overtly scary.

I had such high hopes and expectations for this book! I’d heard fantastic things about it, and I was excited to read it.

This was a great choice for the start of my spooky fall reading.

While I was initially intrigued and wanted to love the book, I sort of struggled to get into it.

If you like historical fiction and mysteries, this series is one you should check out!

The story was interesting but I didn’t feel all that caught up in it.

I don’t even know where to start reviewing this book. Not only was it my most-anticipated book of 2018, I think it was my most-anticipated book ever!
