Overall, if you are a YA romance fan, I recommend this because at times this book seemed to be more about the romance aspect than anything else. If, like me, you are less of a romance fan, you may wish to steer clear.
It’s a slow moving story but one that I couldn’t really put down.
It’s a quirky, funny, endearing coming-of-age story, and I definitely recommend it.
Overall, if you like horror/scary stories, you may enjoy this, but I can’t strongly recommend it.
I definitely recommend this book, and if you haven’t read This Dark Endeavour, you should start there and then pick this book up right after!
If you like novels that focus on character and setting, I definitely recommend this book.
If you like contemporary YA – free from love triangles, zombies, vampires, dystopian or post-apocalyptic societies – with an interesting narrative structure, I definitely recommend this book.
I’m now eagerly anticipating the sequel, whenever that comes out.
